Dear Parents,
ROBERT’S COVE FAMILY CAR, VINTAGE CAR AND TRACTOR RUN 2017
As mentioned in our note before Christmas, Robert’s Cove Vintage Festival Committee will host their annual Car and Tractor Run on Sunday 15th January 2017. But there’s a new addition this year – family cars can now participate in the run! There is a charge of €20 per car, no matter how many passengers there are and there will be a prize for Best Fancy Dressed Family in the car! All monies raised on the day will be equally divided between three local schools – Knocknamanagh NS, Rennies NS and Templebreedy NS Crosshaven.
We encourage you and your family to come along, as this fundraiser will help subsidise activities that your child/children will benefit from over the coming months and years in school. It would be great to see a good turnout for this event.
Registration will commence at the GAA hall in Minane Bridge at 11am, and there will be refreshments in the hall before departure. On return the PA’s from the schools will provide sandwiches, scones and soup. There will be a raffle held in the hall after the run, and the PA are donating a couple of hampers to this raffle.
We would like to sincerely thank the Robert’s Cove Vintage Committee for assisting the schools in this way.
