As part of the school’s Social, Personal & Health Education (S.P.H.E.) programme, pupils from 1st to 4th classes received a visit from Cork City Football Club on Thursday 19th September.  This visit, which included a short soccer session, highlighted the importance of how healthy eating habits and exercise are vital in helping children to be at their best at all times both physically and mentally.  It is hoped that this visit will prove motivational and inspirational for pupils and demonstrate that anyone can achieve success if they strive to succeed.  Young people tend to look up to sports personalities and we are grateful to Cork City FC for taking the time to help the school promote a healthy lifestyle.
